"Summer rider" — hand embellishment limited edition of 50

Print on 11x14 inch Giclée fine art paper - limited to 50 hand embellished with gold pigment. This is a limited edition, meaning they will be no more made when they are gone. 

This printing technique is the best quality for fine art prints, making the print look as close to the original as possible with a matte smooth finish. The prints are made with 10 archival-quality pigment-based inks so the colors are extremely vibrant and juicy!

Each print comes signed, with a thank you note and mini print & sticker(s) as always! (Mini prints and stickers may change depending on which ones I have at the moment, but you can let me know if there's one you prefer and I'll add it to your order).

On the path back,
 a horse stands in the shade, 
 and beside it a figure. 
Still enough to be mistaken for an iron gate, 
a wild bush, or a lamp post. 
As I get closer, the figure doesn’t move, 
but the horse does and huffs.  To my surprise, I realize is a girl- a girl with long black hair, staring back at me.
I wait for her to say something, but the silence stretches, and I feel the awkwardness crawl up my throat. 
 I wave my whole arm and smile; 
I cup my hands around my mouth so she can hear me better
 “do you know where is the main road?”  Instead she just kept staring at me. 
A hoofbeat, dust, olive trees.
She lifts her gaze, and makes a small noise to her horse so they leave, that is all. And so the light goes with her, in fragments: the sun fades in the horizon and the sky shifts to a cobalt blue. 
Confused by my odd encounter, I kept walking 
and finally got home. 
My grandma told me that night “this is how dawn travels, you know? she is the rider passing through the trees”
